1. Who we are
Sim LLC (“Sim,” “we,” “us”) is a custom AI implementation firm. This policy applies to information collected through simllc.co and during client engagements.
2. Information we collect
Information you send us. When you fill out the contact form or email us directly, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if you provide one), industry, business description, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you and, if we enter into an engagement, to carry out that engagement.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit this site, our hosting provider and any analytics services we run may collect standard request metadata: IP address, user agent, pages requested, and referrer. We use this information to keep the site running, defend against abuse, and understand, in aggregate, which content is useful.
Client data during engagements. When we build a system for a client, we may handle data the client provides: documents, records, transcripts, or access to specific tools. That data is governed by the engagement contract and processed only to deliver the work we’ve been engaged to do.
3. How we use information
- To reply to inquiries and schedule conversations.
- To scope, design, and deliver engagements for clients.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations, defend against abuse, and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the contents of contact-form submissions to train general-purpose AI models.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and deliver engagements. These may include hosting and CDN providers, email delivery providers, domain registrars, productivity and collaboration tools, and (only where an engagement requires it and the client has approved) AI model providers. Each provider is bound by its own terms and processes data on our behalf only for the purposes we’ve engaged them for.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses only the minimum cookies required for it to function. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page and, where required by law, obtain consent.
6. Data retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and to keep a record of communications with prospective clients. For active engagements, we retain project records for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward, as described in the engagement contract. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in our care, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat client and prospect information with the seriousness it deserves.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise a right, email hello@simllc.co. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where required, within the timelines set by applicable law.
9. Children
This site and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
10. International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you visit this site from outside the U.S., you understand that information you send us will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active clients through the usual engagement channels.
